OHIO DEPARTMENTS OF STATE BUILDING
Many of the departments of state government
as well as the Ohio State Library are housed in
this fourteen-story, Georgian marble building that
was started in Columbus in 1931 and completed
in 1933. On the south and north ends of the
building are landscaped parks. In the back of
the state office building may be seen the
LeVeque-Lincoln Tower, the city's landmark and
only "skyscraper".
