George Washington Masonic National Memorial. Built by contributions from masons throughout the country as a Masonic memorial to our first president. It was dedicated in 1932. In 1950, the huge 17 foot bronze statue of Washington was unveiled in the memorial Hall. All the valuable possessions of the Alexandria Washington Lodge are now safely housed in the Memorial. Open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, daily. |
