VIEW FROM COURTHOUSE
Chester, South Carolina
From the porch of the historic courthouse can
be seen the Chester ARP Church. Chester was
named by settlers who came from Pennsyl-
vania soon after 1755. It was built around a
brick paved square on the top of a hill.
