| This building is named in honor of South Carolina's famed Governor "Pitchfork" Ben Tillman, and its famed clock tower is a landmark on Clemson University. The bulding was completed in 1893, four years after the Thomas G. Clemson bequest establishing the University, and was accepted by the General Assembly. |
