Outer Light

OUTER LIGHT Aids to Navigation Old Saybrook, Conn. U.S. Government lighthouse at the outer end of the Connecticut River mouth channel into Long Island Sound. The lights and fog horns are automatically operated; until about 1938 it was manned. This and the inner light can best be seen from the decks of the public excursions operating May thru fall foliage.
