| A living maritime Museum. The Charles W. Morgan, launched in New Bedford in 1841, sailed more miles and took more whales than any other wooden whaleship of record. She is now afloat at Chubb's Wharf, Mystic Seaport. This vessel, the last U. S. Wooden whaleship afloat, is a national historic landmark. |
