THESE CLASSIC MUNICIPAL BUILDINGS now being finishe
cost of $2,000,000 are typical of the "CITY OF PROGRESS." They will
ke Springfield famous, will elevate the standard of architecture, public
and private, and teach new and beautiful ideas.
The Administration building for the city offices is on the right, and will be
ready for use in 1913., The Auditorium on the left was opened in February,
1913, and has a seating capacity of 4,500, with ample room for exhibition
purposes.
THE CAMPANILE piercing the sky for 300 feet is unique among the
world's spires. Elevators will convey visitors to the landings above the
beautiful clock, where Picturesque Springfield and the incomparable Connec
ticut Valley can be seen at their best.
