The 530 ton telescope has a distance capability of over one billion light years, or 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 miles. Reading abut the speed of light (did you know it travels 186,000 miles a second?) and the immensity of space truly staggers the imagination - and I'm thinking about "little Ole you."
