Date bearing palm trees, grapefruit grown and luxuriant
shrubbery and flowers afford a beautiful setting for this
swimming pool. Indio, the date capital of the U. S., is the
largest town in this agricultural center. The climate is
warm, dry and healthful, free of smog or fog. This picture
was taken on the grounds of the Dr. Hayes Desert Palms
Guest Ranch located on Highway 111 in Indio.
