From the point on Goat Island, from where
this picture was taken, one is afforded a strik-
ing artistic view of the famous Horseshoe Fall.
The small bridge here visible spans a part of
the rapids, one end of it resting on Terrapin
Rock, the other on Goat Island. From Terrapin
Rock the contour line of the Fall is plainly
visible and is about 2,300 feet in length.
