Additional Details:
The most conspicuous buildings in Chinatown are the restaurants. The Tuxedo Restaurant, on the corner of the Bowery and Doyer Street, is gorgeously decorated and equipped inside, the cost having been over $25,000. The tables are of teakwood beautifully inlaid with pearl, small stools take the place of the ordinary chairs, and the chandeliers are imported and very handsome. The menu is composed of Chinese dishes.
