SEATTLE CITY LIGHT'S ROSS DAM
AND POWERHOUSE
The 360,000 kilowatt Ross Plant is the uppermost of
Seattle's three plants on the Skagit River. Ross Dam,
540 feet high and 1300 feet wide, is the fifth highest
in the world. It creates a lake 24 miles long.
