Erected in 1799. Formerly a stopping over place for Route 30 travelers in the Early 1800's in the process of being moved from its original site (Now the location of Dutch Wonderland, U. S. Route 30, Lancaster, Pa.) The Inn is now located adjacent to the famous Joe Myers Restaurant - approximately 1000 feet from its original site Due to its historical value, the State Hgwy. Dept. saw fit to grant use of U. S. Rt. 30 for the transportation of the building. This operation was reputed to be the most gigantic moving task ever undertaken in this locality.
