VIRGINIA HOUSE, reconstructed in 1927 from
materials of ancient Warwick Priory built in England in
1565 and visited by Queen Elizabeth in 1572.
The main
portion is after the older portion of Warwick Priory.
west wing and main entry door are replicas of Sul
Manor, ancestral home of George Washington. The
trance tower is a reproduction from Wormleighton MARY
Lord Spencer. This is a private residence and not open
to the public, but is to become the property of the Anglia PM
Historical Society through the generosity of the owner Mr. -
and Mrs. Alexander Weddell.
