Boca Grande is a semi-tropical Island colony on the southwest coast of Florida, with direct train service for mall points, over the railroad bridge fro the mainland to the Station, which is two miles from Boca Grande pass, the southern terminus of charlotte harbor, which has the reputation of being the finest fishing waters for game fish, including the famous Tarpon, in the world. Auto road from Placida to Tamiami Trail at Eaglewood gives connections with all highways. Ferry boat, carrying autos and passengers, leaves Placida at 9:30 A. M. and 4:30 P. M. for Boca Grande.
