    A Log Tavern postcard: quite a surprise. This view is probably from the late 1940s, before the trees shown in the background beyond the fence were cleared when the camp's central sewage line was run there. Lew Miller, my father, owned Log Tavern from 1944 until 1962. The 1955 season was the last for Camp Log Tavern. Following several years of planning, Camp Log Tavern, the adult resort, became a children's camp, renamed Camp Indian Trails. That, too, finally closed, and is now the Indians Trails development.
