This used to be one of my family's favorite local spots when we had a cabin at Lost Lake nearby.
We especially loved the thin-crust pizza and were shocked upon returning years later to find that the restaurant had stopped serving the delicacy, claiming that the thin crusts had been frozen and very ordinary!
Anyone who enjoyed the Elms pizza back in the sixties would beg to disagree!

When I first started making the right turn off NY Rt. 22, to head to Squantz Pond State Park, in Ct. 1950's, The Elms had the ONLY food for a long stretch of road. Good, Bad or indifferent, made no difference, was all there was.
