The Church of the Immaculate Conception is the oldest Catholic parish in Easthampton, and was instituted in 1872. the church here illustrated was dedicated August 15th, 1884; it is constructed of brick with Longmeadow brownstone trimmings, and its style is the modified Gothic; it is prominently situated in a fine position, presenting an attractive appearance. This is the third edifice of the parish, the first having been burned in 1874, and the second destroyed by fire in 1883. |
