The Seaport Street, Mystic Seaport
Additional Details:
A typical old seaport village is being erected along this cobbled street. When finished, it will be complete with all the shops and lofts in which our seafaring forebears lived and worked. In the foreground is the old Counting House, and Plymouth Cordage Company's Ropewalk in the distance. To the right is the schooner "Australia," reputed to have been captured from the British in the War of 1812. |
