SPIRIT LAKE, once the most popular recreation spot in
Gifford Pinchot National Forest, has grown by 200 feet in
depth. Lost is it's haunting blue color. Timber and volcanic
debris fills the once-so-beautiful lake in this view looking
North. A natural mud flow now holds back its waters.
