wings added in 1962 and 1965.
This museum contains one of the world's largest and
most valuable scientific collections and is the largest
research museum in the United States. Its exhibits
display human cultures, evolution, dinosaurs, fossils,
mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles, sea life,
insects, plants, meteorites, and rocks and minerals
including a priceless gem collection.
