THE COLUMBIA ICEFIELDS
This tremendous ice mass, tenaciously clinging to the
highest mountain group in the Canadian Rockies, is located
midway between Jasper and Lake Louise. It forms the
largest glacial field in North America, south of the Arctic Circle.
Interesting and educational trips can be made by snowmobile
to the fantastic crevasse and serac formations.
