This monument was erected to the memory of
Brigham Young and the Pioneers, at the head of
Main Street. Two ideal figures represent a
Trapper and an Indian. A bronze relief tablet
represents the Pioneers camping at night. The
names of the first company of Utah Pioneers are
con ained on a lettered tablets
