GILA MONSTER
(pronounced HEELA MONSTER)
A vicious appearing reptile of the lizard family-
a native of the hot desert regions of the Southwest
and Old Mexico. It is said to be very poisonous,
but as it is very lazy and slow of movement as
well as non-aggressive, fatalities from its bite are
seldom known.
The brilliancy of its coloring is much like the
hot sands and highly colored rocks of the desert.
