Poet's Seat Tower, was first erected in the late 1870's as a memorial to the poet Frederick Goddard Tuckerman (1821-1873) on the Site overlooking Greenfield, Mass, where he wrote some of his poetry. The original structure was destroyed and replaced by the present tower in 1912.
