FANEUIL HALL
"CRADLE OF AMERICAN LIBERTY"
Dock Square, Boston, Massachusetts
The American Revolution may well have started here as
the fiery colonial orators urged action against the
Crown. Samuel Adams, one of the most persuasive of
the patriots, is memorialized in the statue. The Custom
House Tower, one of Boston's oldest landmarks, is seen
here on the right. The lower floor of Faneuil Hall is
now occupied by produce firms, and the upper halls
still ring with debates on the current issues of the
New Boston.
