First Congregational Church, Lee, Mass., the origi-
nal church was built in 1780 and then replaced by
a larger structure in 1800. This building burned to
the ground in 20 degrees below zero weather and
the present church building with its beautiful
192 foot high steeple was constructed in 1857.
