John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, was born May 29, 1917 in this home in Brookline, Massachusetts. He was inaugurated January 20, 1961, and served until assassinated at Dallas, Texas. November 22, 1963. He was educated in the Brookline Public Schools, Choate School, and Harvard University. He served as a Congressman and Senator from Massachusetts. The Kennedy Memorial Library, to house his personal papers, is being erected in Cambridge on the Charles River, overlooking the Harvard University campus, his Alma Mater. |
