CASA GRANDE (BIG HOUSE) named by Father Kino
1694 built four stories high to command a wide view of K 1508
the surrounding desert. The only structure of its type in
existence, and is a unique monument to the HOHOKAM
(ancient ones) as early as 700 A. D.
