The Mc Intire Tea House is in the gardens of Glen Magna, Endicott Estate, Ingersoll Street, Danvers. Entrance is through the Mansion open daily from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., with a small fee from May 15th to October 15th. This gazebo was built by Samuel Mc Intire, famous architect of Salem in 1792. It is white with green blinds and decorated with pilasters and swags. Its pediments are four urns and two carved figures ? a farmer with scythe and a milk maid with pail. |
