The Navaho Indians are the principal blanket weavers in the various Indian tribes of the south-west. The art of blanket weaving among the Navahos was probably learned from the Pueblo Indians, some three or four hundred years ago, and the Navahos, being a shrewd, business-like people developed the art until today they are the most skilled Indian weavers in the world.
