UPPER CANADA VILLAGE, MORRISBURG,
ONTARIO: A restoration in village form of Ontario
buildings and furnishings of the period between 1784
and 1867, situated seven miles east of Morrisburg on
the shore of the St. Lawrence. The village is maintained
by the Ontario Department of Tourism and is a major
tourist attraction. Here, the Village Store which sells all
kinds of gift and craft merchandise makes a pleasant
background for two guides arranging flowers.
