Blessed with over 1,000 miles of sandy beaches, Prince
Edward Island is truly a vacation paradise. Surrounded
by two massive bodies of warm, blue sea water, Northum-
berland Strait and the Gulf of St. Lawrence (an arm of
the Atlantic Ocean), the Island provides the warmest salt
water swimming north of Florida. The gentle surf allows
thrilling water skiing, yet the whitecaps are just angry
enough to encourage the surfers.
