| Shoshone Falls:- Impressive as Niagara, this fall is known far and wide as the “Niagara of the West.” With its awe inspiring giddy plunge of 212 feet. West of the Rockies there are higher falls but none combining grater grandeur than this, before being shorn of its glory by diversion of the waters upon the land. Castle Rock:- One of the wild scenes of nature almost inaccessable. The wonder is that so many will rush off to Europe to see scenes that are tame in comparison with our own unrevealed picturesque views. A National highway will change this and keep many of our tourists at home. |
