President Reagan and Nancy visited the nursery of the
Bridge of the Rainbow, a model commune in a Shanghai
suburb. When the Chinese children saw the presidential
couple, they chanted, "Grandpa, Grandma" which was
pleasing "music" to the ears of their distinguished guests.
The costumed children performed to the tinkling sounds
of their ankle bells. May 1, 1984
