The President, "Dutch" to most residents, came home to
Dixon, Illinois to celebrate his 73rd birthday. Hundreds of the
largely Republican city of 15,700 braved the bitter cold to
welcome the local boy who made good. Accompanied by
wife Nancy, and his brother Neil "Moon", the President
toured the restored family home at 816 South Hennepin Av-
enue where he lived before he went off to make his mark in
Hollywood and Washington. February 6, 1984
