Naval Ships and the Cooper River Bridge
Charleston, S. C.
With the Charleston peninsula in the background
the giant Cooper River Bridge hovers over three
vessels of the United States Navy. The destroyer
USS Manley, the submarine USS Corporal, and the
ocean going minesweeper USS Alacrity have just
passed beneath the 152 ft. high span as they head
for the open sea.
