| Chinese New Year in Evanston, Wyo. Jan. 30 and 31, 1976. Over 1500 Chinese populated Evanston's Chinatown between 1876 and 1922. One of only three Joss Houses in America was located here and Chinese new Year was celebrated annually. Its re-creation during 1976 will be one of Uniya County's Bi-Centennial Celebrations parades, Pageants Fashion Shows, Fireworks and Chinese displays will be featured. |
