Residents of the Valley of the Sun, in
Arizona, are
blessed with many beautiful
lakes within easy motoring distance. Carl
Pleasant Lake and Bartlett Reservoir lie north
of Phoenix; Sahuaro Lake, Canyon Lake,
Apache Lake and Roosevelt Lake are strung
out to the east along the course of the Salt
River. Of the latter, Sahuaro Lake is reached
first, by turning north off U. S. Highway 70
at Buckhorn.
