New York World's Fair. The Italian pavilion is a beautiful product of architecture. A statue of the Goddess Roma rises above its colonnaded front with a cascade of water foaming down the steps into a pool at the base of a monument to Marconi. The products of Italy are displayed, and also the progress in recent years and the development of its colonial empire is pictured.
