Back:
An Arrowhead to symbolize the Indian
background which gave Omaha its name.
Within the Arrowhead is the device of the
sun kissing the water which is from the
Great Seal of the State of Nebraska. Flank-
ing the Arrowhead shield are the figures of
an Indian Chieftain and a Pioneer Agricul-
tural and Cattleman. The colors for the
Official Seal and Emblem are the colors of
plenty, henna for the soil and yellow gold to
suggest the sun, wheat and corn.
