| Tombs of "Wild Bill" and "Calamity Jane," Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Deadwood, S. D. “Wild Bill” Hickok and “Calamity Jane” Burke are two of the West's outstanding characters. Bill was killed over a poker table; while Calamity Jane lived on until 1903, when she died of pneumonia. But both breathed their last right in Deadwood. Their remains are buried in adjoining tombs in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. |
