bers of Canvasbacks so
alarmingly that it has been a
matter of concern to many people.
Although Canvasbacks are found
throughout a large part of the United
States during migration, and along both
coasts in winter, they nest principally in
the interior and western parts of North

Saskatchewan and western Manitoba
south to Oregon, Nevada, northern New
Mexico and Minnesota.
