Burial of Gen. Fraser (brit.) Freemann's Farm Oct. 7. 1777. My duty forbids me to fly from danger. Between sunset and dark, his body was borne to the appointed place by grenadiers of his division followed by the generals and their staffs. Cannonballs flew around and above the assembled mourners. |
