The tall, stately grace of the Eucalyptus
Tree is perhaps the most outstanding of Cali-
fornia trees. The continued shedding of bark
leaves a dazzling silvery white trunk. There
are many varieties of Eucalyptus, which is
evergreen — some with flaming red flowers,
some white, and all with curious shaped seed
pods, which are used for decorative purposes
and in the making of novelties. The tree is
also noted for its medicinal qualities.
