Two launches and two long-boats in the harbour, bounty bay. These boats are preparing to go out to a ship bringing a large guantity of stores. This is an unusual photograph in that normally only three boats at a maximum are in the bay at one time. These 38' boats are built on Pitcairn, 200 feet above sea-level. Two are row -boats and two are diesel powered. |
