The Philadelphia-Camden Bridge, the second
largest suspension bridge in the world, is 1.81
miles long, requiring 50,000 tons of steel and
320,000 cubic yards of masonry for its con-
struction. The Port of Philadelphia is the sec-
ond largest seaport in the United States in
point of tonnage of export and import trade
and has the largest fresh-water harbor on the
Atlantic seaboard.
