SAN JACINTO MONUMENT and BATTLESHIP TEXAS,
just outside Houston, Texas. The Monument, foreground,
towers 570 feet and can be seen for miles around . .
The Battleship Texas is permanently berthed here at the
San Jacinto Battle Grounds where she is serving as a
monument to her valiant deeds while in the service of
her country.
