Prong-horn Antelope. The "prong-horn"
Antelope, noted for its fleetness of foot and
excellent flesh, has been persecuted to the ex-
tent that it is now actually on the verge of
extinction and only remnants of the vast herds
that roamed our plains now remain. When
running, the white rump patch is visible for a
distance of several miles.
