The 1906 Alco No. 201 was used in the building of the Panama Canal and was converted to oil burning during W.W.1. The 1918 Shay No. 8 is gear driven and famous for its pulling power. The ES&NA Railway was selected for many train scenes in the Columbia Picture Movie "The blue and the Gray"
